{"post":"As a young adult I would have love to go to a Sinead concert. I was moved by Sinead O’Connor’s song “NOTHING COMPARES 2 You” At this time I was Past the phase of I should openly like white musicians well in the Im gonna like what I like because Black people created rock and roll. This song touched me, it made me want to mean that much to someone and wanted someone in my life this song would be true about.

In my turbulent times, this song like so many others keep me unpurposefully thinking ahead. I guess you can say the melody, her tone in “NOTHING COMPARES 2 YOU” helped me escaped the trauma prison every so often. A testament that soul reveals itself in the person willing to be vulnerable. And courageous enough to bare it against all odds.

Sinead’s activism against child pedophilia deserves to be posthumously awarded. Perhaps her work helped to part the social seas of ignorance so the hurting children can be seen and saved.

What ever happens after death, I hope you have a peaceful journey because “NOTHING COMPARES TO YOU”

{"post":"My fantasy

She beautiful
Until
she put on makeup
Covering up
Her given beauty
Why she hiding from me?
It was her chats
Then her voice
The content of her conversation
That made her my choice
I was already impressed

I wasn’t looking for Barbie
For thr first time
I was sure
Now reality is stealing the cute
To my broken heart
I won’t let her fear break us apart
She let me peer into her already
Secrets deeper than Victoria
Is the foundation to her beauty

Perhaps if I love her
Over time
She love what I see
Intellectually diverse
Courageous
Not cursEd
Well versed
In economics, social Issues
She carry tissues
For the sisters that crazy
But have no pockets

She’s empathetic
And compassionate
But runs from herself

I wonder how 2 broken
Folks
Can help each other heal
I’m gonna start with listening
Cause her eyes were glistening
When she told her tales
And witnessed my facial reactions
I smiled
I wowed
I frowned
I looked surprised
I was there in our moment
We owned it
Although this is a fantasy
I’m finally wishing the best for me

{"post":"If all the Black folks in a neighborhood stop drinking and smoking for a month and put that money in a bank account, with agreements of how it would be used such as developing a community cooperative and shopped there, or did business with it. With in 5 years we would start getting reparations. The thing is we wouldn’t need them, but we should accept it anyways.

What you think ?

The dirt etched into the kitchen floor
From the worn sI’m not using big words today :)s
the contort her feet
That sit by the back door
Most of the time
for the short time
She attempts to relax
inside

With no time
To part water in the bucket it
To clear the floor
She breaks her back to rent
That was dirty
compared to ground that is free
but many get arrested for occupying
The day she moved in
Hard to complain
With the high rent
And housing departments
Still using Covid
As an excuse
For not holding slum lords
Accountable in democrat ran cities
Like Pittsfield, springfield, and Holyoke Ma

I’m not a Republican
But I can’t
Support
Those that don’t support me
Ignoring her
While Affirming
The futures of their
White sisters and daughters
White
Republicans repute
Democrats demolish
The existence of ours
Selling dreams
They can’t afford themselves
On the other isle
Erasing our existence
Nothing left but to accept
The dirt
Ground into the kitchen floor
as part of the original tiles
Affirming that she doesn’t matter
With non action
To hold white landlords accountable
For ran down property
Housing mostly
Black or Latinos
