Hello everyone, I'm working on installing a service that would allow me to upload videos like youtube and I will be giving access to chapter heads to insure that their chapters get their videos loaded up as well.

Poetic Recovery @DigiLog777 @lucabrassy

The name is Luca Brassy (The American Dream). Born and raised in Upstate NY. Maurice and I started the Albany Northeast Chapter recently for the cause. Goal of the chapter is to support Hip Hop Congress by bringing artists in this region together in one place. We will be doing things such as virtual cyphers, online community support meetings, etc. First thing I'd like to do is invite any artists interested in getting some light to my podcast. All info is on the flyer. Second is to invite any artists interested in performing in the first virtual cypher to email me with their info. Once we have people lined up, we can set a date. Email at lucabrassy85@gmail.com

{"post":"Welcome everyone.
This is an important message please read as it will detail our move forward as a region.

There are 5 chapters represented here in the North East Region. It's time to get to work my Brothers. I'm hoping the other 2 chapters will join us. They have been sent emails and request to join. This has been along arduous process to get here. Thank you for being here.

In this message you will get the following. Director job description, East Coast\/Regional focus, Chapter focus and repository and communication.

Job description of East Coast\/Regional Director

East Coast\/Regional director is multifacted
1: to develop chapters
2: get us to work together in a manner that does not cloud the work you all do as an individual chapter,
3: Promote the work of the chapters which is done via http:\/\/www.nerhhc.net (more work will be done).
Radio station etc
4: Create ways we can work together as chapters I do this through
A: implementing initiatives and
B: Encouraging collaborations.
C: Creating a local platform for us to communicate that is dedicate to our work. Which is on the Poetic Recovery Platform.
5: Report back to National
-----------------------------------------------

East Coast Reginal focus Now.
1: Umass chapter up and going
2: Solidify the Albany Chapter
3: Different chapters to be able to communicate and work together
4: Create committees with in the region which will happen when each chapter has a fully functioning board and at least 5 or more members. This will prevent burn out. The more we work together the more we grow.
5: Initiatives are movements, actions take together has a group to merge our energies to bring attention to our network and have a positive impact on our communities and members. At this time we have 2
initiatives on the tables that impacts our organizations and communities.

A: Health and Wellness
B: Education.

We can look at each Initiative as umbrella terms such as Education can mean we take on educating community around different things or It can mean the educational systems and the same with Health and Wellness. This is something we will have to begin meeting about. There will be no initiatives accepted on table until the currents ones are flushed out and resolved. Why? because we will be all over the place. and nothing will get done. I know that you pressing ideas. We must take in consideration capacity building. Once we complete the implementation of these initiative we will have a vote on what we take on next. So in the respect of time we will focus on first things first so we can prove we are worthy of grants, and peoples support.
---------------------------------------------------------------

Chapters Focus
Chapter have their own individual missions and events. I ask that each chapter take on 1 of the initiatives from the North East Region. This is done so that people can see us in different areas and know we are connected and we have a large and lasting positive impact on our communities.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Repository - is where we story information.

Updates from each chapters must be placed in this group on a monthly bases so I can send an update to the National and we can be in touch with the work of each other.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Communication ------
This allow us to know that we are in this struggle to uplift our community through a culture we love. To breathe back life into Hip Hop culture.

Communication refers to how we communicate with each other and to region as a collaborated force. I will address first how we will communicate with each other and 2ndly as a region.
Chapter communication -
A: Listserve: There will be a list serve created which everyone will be asked to join. This listserve will be for members of every chapter to connect. Leadership information shall not be add on the listerve as that information is for us to work out. What is flushed our will be sent out to the listserve so as not to confuse the network. I ask that you get all members of your chapters on the listserve so that all members of the region and this coast can communicate with each other.

B: Repository - This group is the leadership repository. Some people ask why not facebook? or twitter, or another social media network. We deserve our own space. We deserve to know what is us to work together in a space we create that will support us. Yes I own Poetic Recovery, Hip Hop Congress acknowledge Poetic Recovery as an event on the East Coast and thus I'm using my resources to support the growth of the region. Once we get our own funds I will develop a digital space for the region. 1 step at a time. With my funds what i can support at this time is a website www.nerhhc.net that represents us. We will get there. For now this is our meeting spot. Chapters are able to have presence on other social media but this is our meeting spot to come together has leadership.

C: --------
The radio station that will be used to promote the East Coast\/North East Region of Hip Hop Congress to the outside world. It is important that we all promote the radio station. The web address is www.poeticrecoverradio.com Each chapter is invited to have a radio show on the station.
1: Send an email to poeticrecoveryradio@gmail.com
2: Username,
3: default password will be assigned and sent back to you
4: Name of the show and time need to be included.

If you have any questions or thoughts please post them here.

Thank you for being here I appreciate you and the world is better because we have chose to join forces.
