Bio

Born Ericka Monique Marsh from the Crown Heights area of Brooklyn. September 14, 1965.  Last residence in Brooklyn was in the East New York part, near Linden Boulevard. 

Left New York in the summer of 1979. To move to Asheboro North Carolina. Left North Carolina in 1988 to go into the United States Air Force. Where I did one term but had two duty stations during that time. One at Hurlburt Field Florida and one in Europe at Zaragoza Airbase Spain. 

Spent 6 1/2 years in Europe affording me the opportunity of living in three countries Spain Germany and Belgium. During the time at Hurlburt Field Florida, I met and married the father of my four children in 1990, whom I am now divorced from. From the union three women and one young man was born. Also during that time of marriage I had the opportunity to live in Colorado Springs Colorado for four years as well as Maryland for one year and now in Greenville South Carolina since 2002. 

Started writing poetry more frequently right after the pandemic.Â
