The observer(s): Watch us, please keep
in mind this is not a âBig Brother Theoryâ; this is about being observed by our audiences which happens on different levels. The power in being observed is astounding.I wrote this because at time I get frustrated when people are not responding to my questions. In spaces such as group chats I see them looking at what I write and some will respond, other keep moving.
instead of getting frustrated and the lack of response, I have decided to be great full that they are still there just merely observing. Why? You ask. There are million responsibilities in our lifeâs that are pulling us st any given time and the fact that you are reading this is a testimony to to our connection and itâs my responsibility to nurture you when you observe.
If I taint this connection and use it to poison your thought process with pettiness, glorification of violence or hatred, Iâm also manipulating your energy which will be released upon society. While this is a concept many commercial artists in the recording industry deny simply because their misguided concept of freedom of speech under the guise of capitalism has allowed them to not be accountable to those impacted by their speech, millions feel the spiritual and manifested impact of the messages of misery via senseless killing due to glorified violence in gang related killings, drug dealing, addiction, alcoholism, misogyny and objectification cultuvated by the recoded industry due to their sense of no responsibility, and their economic power and advantage over the artists manipulated by dangled wealth tempting them so they can escape poverty.
When society catches on we will begin to decide to hold these record labels accountable with massive lawsuits for the inflictions of emotional pain due to emotional damage via cultural appropriation and exploitation based in in white supremacy, while so many of our brothers and sisters will be held as accomplices for the promotions of the cultural deviances.
Msny of us as community artists donât always realize when we have an audience, simply because with the advent of social media, and the awarding of those who get millions of viewers. We have been taught to ignore the 5 or 10 or thousands of peooole dedicated to supporting us, that we indoctrinate them we madness to be come part of the recording industry fold. By the time the few make it to the industry, they have spiritually murdered so many and the recording industry can claim to have no responsibility. However, with the manipulation of poverty and wealth, cultural exploitation, the expulsion of those that challenge their superiority the message sent is you do what we want you to or you are expelled from the upper echelon of society, proves they are aware of their power and the impact of their cultural appropriation and exploitation.
Those that observe us deserve more!. When we are observed by our audience, It shows the power in our actions, decisions, thoughts, creativity. For better or worse the observations testifies to the power of our expression in what ever form. Observation occurs for different reasons, 1: Our actions are interesting 2: They are amazed 3: They are dumbfounded 4: They are deeply moved and so many other responses.
How do we know when we have done either, our audiences will let us know in different ways, the most efficient ways is through a survey which creates a buffer between the artists and audience while response is given. The audience can sit with their response and thoughtfully respond, the artists can brace themself for the response The more more convenient way is directly after the show when neither are properly suited to give a response or accept it Due to the high impact of the energy from the show. However, it is a form of response and very important as well.
Many times artists in the recording industry are cut off from these respinses thus cuts off the viability of cultural responsibility to our communities. These industry are artists are managed and handled by corporations as is the audience.
POETIC RECOVERY is the difference and believe in cultural responsibility and the power of our community. Thus there are filters in place to protect our communities from the hatred sewn into society by systems of white supremacy through the encouraging of healing and the creation of our cultural exchange where those that support the artists can directly connect.
Mechanism will be in place to ensure that artists are responding to the needs of our community rather than the community responding to the white supremacy and cultural exploitation and appropriation of a music industry. POETIC RECOVERY is the change. We can only sustain with your support.
