Juneteenth International is a push by "Maurice "Soulfighter" Taylor to connect the dots of the International slave trade. America was not an isolated event and the slave rebellions were fueled by rebellion else where such as Haiti and the 1831 Rebellion, the British Empire Abolished Slavery.
Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Maurice "Soulfighter" Taylor started talking about Juneteenth while the President of African American Cultural Society in 1996. Realizing that there is no event that brings Black people from all walks of life to be involved. Maurice "Soulfighter" Taylor created a Juneteenth event that allowed Black people from low economic Black groups to celebrate our freedom along with allies. Due to Covid, Juneteenth carries on virtually to encourage the Black community to stay alert and be safe.
